The impact of a tropical rainforest

A human alteration that negatively impacts the physical characteristics of a tropical rainforest is mining which is the extraction of valuable minerals. Another negative impact is Deforestation. This clears trees to provide oxygen and carbon dioxide. This can also further destruct habitats and can also affect the population of locals who have a tropical rainforest as their home. An example of this is in The Brazilian state Roraima. Conflicts started between the indigenous Yanomamo Indians and gold miners. The government then had to step up with the military to evict miners from Indian lands. Therefore Mining has many negative impacts on the physical characteristics of the tropical rainforest.
